안녕하세요 새생명 성도님들 한 주 동안 잘지내셨나요?
이번 주 하나님의 말씀은 열왕기하 6장 본문을 통해 본 믿음의 눈이 열릴 때 이라는 주제의 말씀입니다.
바쁘시더라도 잠깐 묵상하는 시간을 가지셔서 말씀의 은혜를 누리시길 바랍니다.
오늘 본문의 내용은 시리아 왕이 이스라엘을 침략하는 가운데 이스라엘 예언자 옐리사에 의해 매번 실패하게 되어, 시리아 왕이 엘리사 한사람을 잡기 위해 도단성을 둘러싸고 포위하였습니다. 이 사실을 알게 된 엘리사의 시종은 두려워하며 엘리사에게 알리자, 그는 시종의 눈을 열어 불말과 불병거가 온 언덕에 가득하여 엘리사를 지키고 있는 것을 알게 해 주었습니다.
이후 엘리사는 이 군대의 눈을 어둡게 하여 사마리아로 데려가게 되고, 시리아의 군대가 수도인 사마리아에 순순히 오게 되어, 그들을 포로로 잡을 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되었는데, 그들을 사로 잡지 않고 배불리 먹이고 대접해주어 보내니 이후 시리아는 이스라엘 땅을 침략하지 못하게 되었습니다.
엘리사가 죽음의 위기 가운데 이겨낼 수 있었던 힘은 영적인 눈을 가지고 있었기 때문입니다.
믿음의 눈이 열릴 때에 얻을 수 있는 유익한 3가지
1.두려움이 떠나고 하나님의 보호하심에 대한 확신이 생긴다.
본문의 시종의 모습은 위기에 대한 일반적인 우리의 모습과 같습니다.
걱정하며 두려워 하는 모습입니다. 왜냐하면 위기속에 숨겨진 변장된 축복을 보지 못하기 때문입니다.
하나님은 우리에게 위기를 주실 때, 우리에게 벌을 주거나 고통을 주시기 위함이 아닙니다. (고전10:13)
시련을 통해 우리의 믿음이 자라길 원하시기 때문입니다. 그러므로 시련은 우리에게 유익한 것, 성장통이라고 여겨야 합니다.
또한 본문의 눈을 열다 라는 의미는 육적인 눈으로 절대 볼 수 없는 영적인 것을 보게 하는 영적 눈을 뜨게 해달라는 것입니다.
믿음의 눈은 자연적으로 떠지지 않습니다. 믿음의 선배의 기도를 통해, 하나님의 응답을 통해 이루어 집니다.
믿음의 눈을 뜨면 하나님의 보호하심을 확신할 수 있습니다. 자신안에 두려움이 있습니까?
이는 하나님과의 관계가 멀어져 있다는 증거이기도 합니다. 어떤 두려움에 떨고 계십니까?
예수님은 십자가에서 인간의 모든 두려움을 몸소 경험하시며 이겨내셨습니다.
우리의 어떠한 두려움 이든지 예수님께서 이미 그것을 십자가에서 감당하셨다는 것을 기억하시기 바랍니다.
2.나를 대적하는 원수에게도 사랑을 실천하게 된다.
믿음의 눈이 열리면, 나를 대적하는 이들이 사랑스럽고, 그들에게 감사할 수 있습니다.
시리아 군대가 눈이 멀었다는 것은 이미 하나님께서 그들에게 심판을 내리셨다는 것을 의미합니다.
그들을 죽일 수도 있고, 포로로 사로잡을 수 있는 이 적군을 엘리사는 죽이지 않습니다.
엘리사가 이들을 사마리아에 데려온 이유가 전쟁에서 이기기 위한 목적이 아닌, 이스라엘에 참 선지자가 있다는 것을 알려주기 위함이었기 때문입니다.
악을 선으로 갚아줌을 통해 진정한 하나님의 살아계심을 증거하는 사건이었습니다.
원수도 그리스도의 사랑으로 덮어 줄 수 있는것, 선으로 악을 이기는 삶, 이것이 그리스도인이 진정으로 실천해야 할 사랑입니다.
이 사건을 통해 시리아는 다시는 이스라엘을 침략하지 못하였다고 기록되어 있습니다. 이것이 바로 진정한 승리를 이룬 것입니다.
나를 대적하는 원수들을 굴복시킬 수 있는 가장 좋은 방법은 그들의 마음을 사로 잡을 수 있는 자비와 사랑입니다. (고후5:14-15)
3.영적 세계에 대한 통찰력이 생기고 고난을 기뻐하며 이기게 된다.
믿음의 눈을 떠야 시대를 보는 눈, 통찰력이 생깁니다.
욥기에서 나타난 욥의 통찰력이나, 모세가 영적 눈을 뜨고 고난을 통해 뛰어난 영적 리더가 되었습니다. (히11:24-27)
베드로, 요한또한 믿음의 눈을 열고 기적을 행하였습니다. (행3:6-7)
VIP들의 문제들을 보며, 그들을 격려하고 이기도록 응원해주어야 합니다.
건강, 물질, 시간, 자녀를 잘 관리 해야 합니다. 고난은 고난으로 끝나지 않습니다.
고난은 유익으로, 깨달음으로 이어집니다. (시119:71)
목자 목녀로 산다는 것은, 나 자신이 아닌 남을 위해 살며, 고난을 배우며 성장하며, 죄에서 멀어지며, 예수님을 닮아간다는 것 입니다.
고난을 당할 때 기뻐하십시오. 믿음의 시련이 우리를 온전케 만들기 때문입니다.(야1:2-5)

Title: When you open the eyes of faith

Hello, members of Sydney New Life Church!
Have you been well in the past week?
On Sunday we looked at 2 Kings chapter 6 exploring the topic ‘When you open the eyes of faith’.
Even if you are busy, please take a moment to meditate on the sermon and enjoy the grace of the word.
Today’s passage is about the King of Syria surrounding the city of Dothan to capture Prophet Elisha because he has been the reason Syria’s plans to overtake Israel has been failing.
Elisha’s servant, who saw Syria’s army surrounding the city with horses and chariots, went to Elisha and told him of what he saw in fear.
Elisha prayed that his servant’s eyes may be opened, and the servant saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
Then Elisha prayed for God to struck Syria’s army with blindness and took them to Samaria, the capital city of Israel.
The Israelites finally had the opportunity to capture the army of Syria as prisoners however, they fed the army and sent Syria’s army back. Afterwards, Syria could not attack nor try to overtake Israel anymore.
The reason Elisha could overcome the crisis of death was because he had spiritual power from his eyes of faith.
3 benefits when you open the eyes of faith are:
1. Fear is gone and you have conviction about God’s protection.
Elisha’s servant in today’s passage is the normal reaction to crisis in our lives. We fear and worry. This is because we cannot see the blessings disguised as crisis.
When God allow us to experience crisis, it is not with the intention to punish us or make us suffer (1 Corinthians 10:13). God wants us to grow in our faith through it.
Therefore, trials caused by God are beneficial to us, it is the pain of growth.
Also, the meaning of ‘open the eyes’ in today’s passage is to open our spiritual eyes to see the spiritual things which are not perceivable by eyes of the flesh.
Spiritual eyes do not open naturally.
Spiritual eyes are opened through the prayers of a senior of faith or through God’s answers to your prayers.
When you open your eyes of faith, you can be certain of God’s protection.
Do you have fear inside you?
If you do, it is also evidence that you have distanced from God.
What fear do you tremble at?
Jesus experienced all fear of humans on the cross and overcame it.
Whatever fear you may have, remember that Jesus has already beard it on the cross.
2. You practice love even to your enemies who are against you.
When your eyes of faith are opened, you can love your enemies and be thankful towards them.
When the army of Syria was blinded, it meant that God has already punished them.
They could have killed or help the army of Syria captive as prisoners however they didn’t kill them.
Elisha didn’t bring the army of Syria to Samaria to win the war but to let them know that Elisha was a true prophet of God.
To pay back evil with good as in the passage, it was an event that showed that God lives.
The true love that Christians must live with is Christ’s love to embrace your enemies so that you may live a life that wins evil with good.
Through this incident, Syria couldn’t attack Israel ever again.
This is true victory.
The best way to make your enemies surrender is through love and mercy (2 Corinthians 5:14-15).
3. You have an insight about spiritual world, enjoy and overcome hardships.
When you open the eyes of faith, you gain insight about the current times.
Both Job and Moses gained insight through their hardships. By overcoming their hardships, they became outstanding spiritual leaders (Hebrews 11:24-27).
In Acts 3:6-7, John and Peter performed a miracle as their spiritual eyes were opened.
When looking at the problems of your VIPs, you must encourage and cheer them on to overcome their hardships. You must look after your health, materialistic things, time, and children.
Suffering doesn’t end as suffering. Suffering ends as benefits and leads onto to realisations (Psalms 119:71).
To live as a Shepherd and a wife of a Shepherd means to not live for yourself but to live for others, to learn and mature through suffering, to distance away from sin, and to become like Jesus Christ.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

新生命教会的各位圣徒你们好，这周的主日讲道是通过列王纪下6章进行的讲道。题目为‘睁开信仰之眼的时刻”希望大家抽时间默想一下神的话语，感受一下神的恩典。
当叙利亚王侵略以色列的时后由于预言家雅丽丝的阻碍分分失败。 叙利亚王为了抓住雅丽丝包围了整个城市，雅丽司的侍从知道这件事情的之后感到了恐怖，把这件事情告诉了雅丽丝，但雅丽丝给她的侍从展示了神为了保护以色列使整个丘陵装满了一堆火马和火战车的场面。之后，雅丽丝盖住了军队的视觉，叙利亚的军队顺从地来到了叙利亚的首都，得到了能够把他们当作他们的奴隶的机会，但雅丽司并没有抓住他们反而用丰富的食物服侍了他们，把他们送回到了他们的老家，以后叙利亚再也没有侵略以色列地方。雅丽司能够克服这些危机的秘诀就在她具有属灵的眼睛。
睁开信仰之眼之后能够得到的三个益处
1. 恐怖不会再拘束我们，能够确信神对的自己的保护
圣经本文中的侍从的样子十分相似于我们，会担心，感到恐惧。是因为看不到危机背后的祝福。神给我们危机，并不是为了惩罚，更不是让我们得到痛苦。（哥林多前书10章13节）神给我们危机是为了使我们的信仰变得更加成熟，因此我们要把危机看作为对我们有益的东西，成长痛。文中的”睁开眼睛“意味着看到不能用肉眼看到的属灵的内容。
但属灵的眼睛不是自然能够睁开的东西，是通过圣徒们的祈祷，通过神的应答形成的东西。一旦睁开信仰之眼能够确信神的保护，经常感到恐惧吗？这种现象是证明神和自己的距离变得疏远。您有哪些担忧？我们要懂得耶稣在十字架上面经验了人类所感到的一切感情，包括我们感到的恐惧和担忧。但耶稣克服了一切恐惧。我们要记住耶稣在十字架上承受了一切。
2.能够对自己的对手实现耶稣的爱
当我们睁开信仰之眼的时候，会产生能够理解，爱敌人的力量。也能够产生感谢他们的感情，圣经中，神盖住叙利亚军队的视觉，意味着神审判了他们， 神具有充分的力量去杀掉他们，又能把他们作为以色列军队的奴隶，但神并没有灭绝敌军。雅丽司把他们带到撒玛利亚的目的不是为了赢得胜利，而是为了让他们懂得以色列有真正的先知者。文中的内容是一件证明神的存在与以善胜恶的事件。我们基督徒要学会用耶稣的爱包容敌人，实现以善胜恶的态度。圣经记录了通过文中的事件叙利亚从此没有再侵略以色列地方。这就是以色列赢得真正胜利的证据。最能让敌人放弃他们的报仇的方法就是对他们展现慈爱。（哥林多后书5章14节至15节）
3.能够形成属灵的洞察力，并乐意接受人生中的苦难
当我们睁开信仰之眼的时候才能够形成洞察力，例如约伯记里的约伯和出埃及记中的摩西一样，通过苦难睁开信仰之眼才能够有力量去当属灵的领导，（希伯里书11章24节至27节）圣经还有许多人物（彼得，约翰）睁开属灵的眼睛之后展示了多数奇迹。（行书3章6节至7节)当我们看到我们VIP的问题时，我们要鼓励他们并为他们的胜利而祈祷。我们要好好管理健康，物质，时间，子女。苦难的结局不再是苦难，而是苦难向我们带来益处与教训。（诗篇119章71节）牧子牧女的人生意味着乐意为他人牺牲，通过苦难得到成长，断绝罪，日益亲近与耶稣的人生。
我的弟兄们，你们落在百般试炼中，都要以为大喜乐，因为知道，你们的信心经过试验就生忍耐。但忍耐也当成功，使你们成全、完备，毫无缺欠。（请参考雅各书1章2节至5节）
