제목 : 불평을 이기고 사명을 완수하는 삶을 살려면

안녕하세요 새생명 성도님들 한 주 동안 잘지내셨나요?
이번 주 하나님의 말씀은 요나서 1,3,4장 본문을 통해 본 '불평을 이기고 사명을 완수하는 삶을 살려면' 이라는 주제의 말씀입니다.
바쁘시더라도 잠깐 묵상하는 시간을 가지셔서 말씀의 은혜를 누리시길 바랍니다.
하나님이 우리를 사용하시는 이 시기에 우리가 어떻게 하나님의 일들을 감당할 수 있을까요?
사도 바울은 구원은 하나님의 은혜로 된 것이지 우리의 행위가 아님을 말하고 있습니다.(엡2장8-9절)
구원은 값 없이 주어지는 선물입니다. 우리가 VIP에게 줄 수 있는 가장 큰 선물은 예수님께로 인도하는 사랑의 빛을 지우는 것입니다.
성도간에 주는 선물은, 위로와 격려차원에서 하는 것이고, 선물을 통해 하나님의 위로와 격려를 받는 것입니다.
중요한 것은 선물을 받고 되갚는 행위는 이 선물이 뇌물로 변질될 수 있는 위험이 있습니다.
목회와 가쉽은 사람에 대해 말하는 것이 공통점이지만, 목회는 사람을 살리고, 가쉽은 사람을 죽입니다.
신앙 생활에서 하나님의 다스림을 받으며 따뜻함과 넉넉함으로 우리 가슴을 채우는 일이 중요합니다.
우리는 하나님의 사랑을 배달하는 역할입니다. 목장모임을 하고 목자일기를 쓰는게 중요합니다
우리와 하나님의 관계는 우리의 행위가 아닌 하나님의 선물, 사랑으로 이루어 진 것임을 깨달아야 합니다.
우리가 사랑받는 자녀임으로 하나님을 본받아야 합니다. (엡5:1)
우리의 모든 행위 (예배, 목장, 사역, 경건의 생활)의 동기는 하나님의 은혜에 감사해서 하는 것이 되어야 합니다.
진정한 순종은 뇌물과 같이 복을 받기 위한 전제가 아니라, 하나님께 감사해서 자원하는 마음으로 하는 것이 진정한 순종입니다.
본문의 요나 선지자는 여로보함 2세에 활동하던 사람이며, 예수님께서 언급하신 구약의 4명의 인물 (엘리야, 엘리사, 이사야, 요나)중 하나입니다.
요나는 니느웨 (현 이라크)에 가서 하나님의 심판의 메세지를 선포하는 사명을 가지고 있었습니다.
니느웨는 이스라엘의 적국이기에, 그들이 회개하여 심판을 면하게 될 까봐 선지자는 말씀 선포를 거부하였습니다.
1.편견과 선입견을 버려야 합니다.
사람은 살며 두마리의 개를 키운다고 합니다. 바로 편견과 선입견입니다.
편견과 선입견이 만나면 꼴불견이 나옵니다.
편견과 선입견을 가지게 되면, 본인은 마음 편히 잘 살겠지만, 주위 사람은 힘들고 어렵게 됩니다.
우리가 잘 활용하고 있는 애니어그램도 남에게 적용하다 보면 편견과 선입견을 가지게 됩니다.
나에게로 가는 길이라는 책의 제목처럼 남이 아닌 나 자신에게 적용하고 남을 섬기는데 활용해야 하는 것입니다.
예배를 드리며 말씀을 들을 때 마음이 편하고 나와 아무 관계 없다는 생각이 든다면 이미 편견과 선입견을 가지고 있는 것입니다.
말씀을 들을 때 불편하고 어려워야 건강한 모습입니다.
2.하나님의 마음을 알아야 합니다.
요나는 하나님께서 뜻을 돌이켜 심판을 멈추시는 것을 보고 불평을 합니다. (4:10)
영혼구원을 하며 붙잡아야 할 가장 중요한 것은 하나님의 마음입니다.
이 영혼을 향한 내 마음 보다 하나님의 마음을 알아야 합니다.우리가 하나님 마음을 모르면 신앙생활이 종교생활로 변질됩니다.
신앙에 대한 책임감은 없이 혜택과 유익만 누리려는 모습이 오늘날 현대 교회의 문제라는 것입니다.
하나님의 마음을 알 수 있는 방법은 성령 하나님이 우리안에 오셔야 합니다. (요14:26)
우리가 고난과 시련가운데 있는 것은 우리의 죄 때문이기도 하지만, 하나님께서 그분의 마음을 우리가 알게하시는 통로이기도 합니다. (고전10:12-13)
3.진정한 회개와 순종의 삶을 살아야 합니다.
예수님께서는 요나의 비유를 들으며 말씀을 선포하십니다.(눅11:32)
우리가 믿음이 자라서도 알면서 하지 않는 것은 큰 죄입니다.
신앙생활을 잘하는 분들은 고난 가운데 감사하지만, 그렇지 못한 분은 고난 가운데 원망하고 불평합니다.
파도가 클 수록 멋있게 서핑보드를 탈 수 잇는 것 처럼, 고난이라는 파도가 클 수록 우리의 신앙은 더욱 멋있게 성장하게 됩니다.
신앙생활을 하며 진정한 눈물을 흘려가며 회개 한적이 있으십니까?
진정한 회개를 통해 영혼의 상처를 치유 받으시길 바랍니다.

Hello, members of Sydney New Life Church!
Have you been well in the past week?
On Sunday we looked at Jonah chapters 1, 3 and 4 exploring the topic ‘To be able to get over with complaints and complete the mission’.
Even if you are busy, please take a moment to meditate on the sermon and enjoy the grace of the word.
How could we handle God’s works during this time where God is using us?
Apostle Paul clearly states that salvation is received by God’s grace not from our own works. (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Salvation is a gift that is given without any cost. The biggest gift that we could give to our VIPs is to lead them to Jesus and make them in debt to love.
A gift that church members give to each other are comfort and encouragement, and it is through that gift we receive God’s comfort and encouragement. The important thing is that we must not try to repay back the gift that we received because then there is a danger of changing that gift to bribery.
Pastoring and gossip both have in common that it is talking about a person however, pastoring saves people and gossip kills people.
In your walk of faith, it is important that you fill your heart with warmth and generousness by being under the reign of God.
We have the role of delivering God’s love to other people. House Church (mokjang) and Shepherd’s journal is important.
We must realise that our relationship with God is not made by our own works, but it was restored by God’s love as a gift to us.
As we are children of God receiving His love, we must become alike Him (Ephesians 5:1).
The motive of all of our works (Worship, House Church, Service, Pious lifestyle) must be from thankfulness of God’s grace.
True obedience is not a like bribery where it is a prerequisite to receive God’s blessings but true obedience is a voluntary heart from thankfulness to God.
Prophet Jonah was a man who was active at the age of Jeroboam II (2), he is also one of the 4 men (Elijah, Elisha, Isaiah, Jonah) in the Old Testament that Jesus mentioned.
Jonah had a mission to go to Nineveh (modern Iraq) and preach the message of God’s judgement against them.
Jonah refused to preach in Nineveh because Nineveh was Israel’s hostile enemy and he feared that they would hear his message and turn to repentance and be saved.
1. Get rid of prejudice and preconceptions (1:1-3).
There is a saying that people grow 2 dogs as they live. These 2 dogs are ‘prejudice’ and ‘preconceptions’.
When prejudice and preconceptions meet, it becomes very unsightly.
You might be comfortable from having prejudice and preconceptions but other people around you will face hardships and feel uncomfotable.
Enneagram is not meant to be used on others because then it will cause us to have prejudice and preconceptions against others.
Like the title of the enneagram book suggests, ‘The Road Back to You’, we must use it for ourselves and not others and use it to serve others.
When you hear the sermon during the worship service, if your heart is feeling comfortable and think the sermon has no relationship with you then you already have prejudice and preconceptions. It is healthy to feel uncomfortable and challenged when hearing the sermon.
2. Know the heart of God. (3:10, 4:1-2, 4:10-11)
Jonah was displeased and angry when he saw God take away Nineveh’s judgement in chapter 4 verse 10.
The most important thing we must hold onto when evangelising is the heart of God.
You must know not your own heart but God’s heart for these lost souls.
If we do not understand God’s heart, our walk of faith becomes a religious lifestyle.
The problem of Christians today is that we try to live the walk of faith by enjoying all the blessing and benefits of a Christian without having any responsibility.
We can know the heart of God when the Holy Spirit comes into our heart (John 14:26).
We are in suffering and hardships because of sin but it is also so that we may come to understand God’s heart. (1 Corinthians 10:12-13)
3. Live the life of true repentance and obedience.
Jesus preached referring to Jonah as a simile (Luke 11:32).
As our faith grows, it is a huge sin for us not to do things that we know we ought to do.
People who walk the walk of faith are thankful in amidst suffering but those who don’t resent and complain amidst suffering.
Just like how a surfer is cooler the bigger the waves are, the bigger the wave of suffering is, the more greatly our faith grows.
As you walk the walk of faith, have you ever repented while truly crying?
The wounds and hurts of our soul are healed through true repentance.
