사랑하는 교우 여러분, 2026년 새해를 앞두고, 우리 교회가 하나님께서 주신 거룩한 비전을 이루어 나갈 귀한 섬김의 자리를 준비하고자 합니다. 바로 12월 첫째주일과 둘째주일, 2주간 진행될 '2026 사역 엑스포'입니다.
1. 하나님의 선물, '은사'를 따라 섬깁시다
교회는 머리 되신 그리스도를 중심으로 연결된 '몸'입니다. 이 몸이 건강하게 움직이려면, 각 지체(성도)가 자신에게 맡겨진 역할을 충실히 감당해야 합니다(고전12장 참조). 성경은 하나님께서 각 사람에게 성령을 통해 교회를 세우기 위한 특별한 선물, 즉 '은사(恩賜)'를 주셨다고 분명히 말씀합니다. 우리의 사역은 단순한 봉사가 아니라, 하나님이 주신 은사를 발견하고 그 은사를 통해 섬기는 거룩한 특권입니다. 지체들이 자신의 은사대로 섬길 때, 비로소 교회 공동체는 견고하고 아름답게 세워집니다. 하나님께서는 단 한 사람도 사역에서 제외되기를 원치 않으십니다. 여러분이 받은 그 은사는 교회 공동체의 유익을 위해 꼭 필요한 퍼즐 조각입니다.
2. 사역의 원칙: 연합교회 사역과 목장사역(가정교회)의 균형 잡기
2026년 사역을 신청하실 때, 다음 두 가지 원칙을 염두에 두어 주시기를 부탁드립니다. 왜냐하면 연합교회와 작은 공동체인 목장사역을 균형 있게 섬기기 위해서입니다.
1) 연합교회 사역 하나: 전 교회가 함께하는 공적인 예배, 봉사, 교육 등 전체 공동체를 위한 사역에 한 가지 동참합니다.
2) 목장 사역 하나: 삶을 나누고 돌보는 가장 작은 단위인 목장 사역에 한 가지 동참하여 소그룹 공동체를 세웁니다.
이 두 가지 사역을 통해 우리는 교회의 폭넓은 비전과 깊이 있는 사랑의 관계를 동시에 경험하게 될 것입니다.
3. 성령님이 주신 마음으로, 자발적인 동참을 기다립니다
무엇보다 저희 교회가 추구하는 사역의 핵심은 ‘자발성’입니다. 사역은 의무나 짐이 아닙니다. 이 사역은 오직 성령께서 우리 마음에 주시는 기쁨과 감사, 그리고 하나님을 향한 순수한 사랑으로 섬기는 ‘거룩한 특권’입니다. 혹시 내 은사가 무엇인지 아직 확신이 서지 않더라도, 괜찮습니다. 2주간의 사역 엑스포 기간 동안 각 부스를 방문해 보시고, 다양한 섬김의 영역을 살펴보십시오. 주님께서는 기꺼이 섬기고자 하는 마음 가운데 은사를 밝히 보여주시고, 능력을 더하여 주실 것입니다. 하나님께서 주신 귀한 은사를 묻어두지 마십시오. 2026년에는 성령님이 주신 마음을 따라 모두 기쁘게 사역에 동참하여, 우리 교회를 세상의 빛과 소금으로 세워가는 복된 한 해가 되기를 간절히 소망합니다.

<Issue No. 25-49> 2026 Ministry Expo Announcement
Dear beloved church members,
As we stand on the threshold of the new year 2026, our church is preparing precious opportunities for service through which we can fulfill the holy vision God has given us. This is the 2026 Ministry Expo, which will be held over two weeks—on the first and second Sundays of December.
1. Serve According to the “Gifts” God Has Given
The church is a “body” connected together with Christ as the head. For this body to move in a healthy way, each member must faithfully carry out the role entrusted to them (see 1 Corinthians 12). The Bible clearly teaches that God has given each person a special gift—spiritual gifts—through the Holy Spirit, for the building up of the church. Our ministry is not merely volunteer work; it is a sacred privilege to discover the gifts God has given us and to serve through them. When the members of the body serve according to their gifts, the church is built up firmly and beautifully. God does not desire that even a single person be left out or excluded from ministry. The gifts you have received are essential pieces of the puzzle for the benefit and growth of the church community.
2. Principles of Ministry: Balancing Church-wide Ministry and House-Church (Mokjang) Ministry
As you sign up for ministries for 2026, please keep the following two principles in mind. These principles exist to help us maintain a healthy balance between church-wide ministries and the smaller community ministries of our Mokjangs.
1) One Church-wide Ministry
Participate in one ministry that serves the entire congregation—such as worship, service teams, education, or other ministries that involve the whole church.
2) One Mokjang Ministry
Participate in one ministry within your Mokjang—the smallest unit where life is shared and members care for one another—helping to build the small-group community. Through these two areas of ministry, we will experience both the broad vision of the church and deep, loving relationships within the community.
3. We Await Your Voluntary Participation, Led by the Holy Spirit
Above all, the heart of ministry in our church is voluntariness. Ministry is not an obligation or a burden. It is a “holy privilege” carried out with the joy and gratitude the Holy Spirit places in our hearts, and with pure love toward God. If you are not yet sure what your spiritual gifts are, that is perfectly okay. During the two weeks of the Ministry Expo, please visit each booth and explore the various areas of service. The Lord will reveal your gifts clearly and provide the strength you need as you carry a willing heart to serve. Do not bury the precious gifts God has given you. In 2026, may we all joyfully join in ministry according to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and may it be a blessed year in which our church becomes salt and light to the world.
